Default FBH Fitting

I was told it was an easy install, I know the plug is already there, when connecting the two pipes how much water would be lost, and would presume the connections for the dosing pump would be there.

Coolant loss will depend how quick you are but you will have to top up and bleed, the wiring for the dosing pump is on top of the tank, so its seat out, undo the cover plate and drop it down.

I lost 200ml of coolant tops, used a g clamp with inserts to clamp the hose prior to cutting.

DONE: HAD A CRAZY IDEA THAT I HAD TO GET RID OF MY MG ZTT DUE TO NOT HAVING A DRIVE AND HAVING TO PARK ON A BUSY STREET WITH A VIEW TO GETTING ANOTHER ONE AT A LATER DATE WHEN I HAVE A DRIVE.

ENDED UP REALISING IT REALLY ISN'T PRACTICAL NOT HAVING A CAR TO GET AROUND AND I NOW OWN A VW EOS 3.2 V6 INDIVIDUAL (1 OF 20 REMAINING IN THE UK WITH THAT ENGINE AND TRIM COMBO) EVEN THOUGH I STILL LIVE ON A BUSY ROAD WITHOUT A DRIVE

Use a G clamp to minimise coolant loss.

Hi Dave.

It would appear there was one there at some stage, cos! The the pipe is joined together with jubilee clips.

I suppose you could still use a G clamp each side of the Jubilee clipped joint, if you have enough room.
