Hi Richard.
You could always take out the ECM and check to see if it as been wet, link blow on how to remove the ECM.

press in the tag and slide the clip down.

move on to the next connector same as above & so on.

Then slide out the ECM.

You can then get the ECM on a work bench in a clean area.

flip it over and undo the small torx screws lift the back off.

Check for any wet area or green/white deposits.

Lift the board out and check the other side.

If you do see any deposits you can clean them with switch cleaner only and a soft brush, then some have put it in a warm airing cupboard to dry out, re-fitted it and see if it started.

Either way that is how you remove the ECM
