Have they got lacquer on top?
I had some Rover 800 wheels done few years back but the lacquer cracked after 6 months.................it was a young company though. Let's hope it doesn't happen to your Meteors. Let us know how they weather in say a years time

Or these if you live in Essex, though not for £20 a wheel..
Maldon area http://ctc-powder-coating.co.uk Basildon area http://www.vulcanshotblastingbasildon.co.uk/ Using Maldon currently for my TL1000 at the moment they have the wheels for a candy electric blue, not unlike the anodised blue you get on bling parts I have used Vulcan in the past for my Morini 500, Frame & wheels done by them..

yes they are laquered on the front but not on the inside, I'm going to have new tyres put on then I will polish and wax all the exposed parts to help protect them. I won't put them on the car until the spring though as the Crowns have nearly new Goodyears on them. .

The straights on my MG ZT were refurbed over 2yrs ago now as you can see from the pics note the last two I took just now and still look like I picked them up yesterday, fully lacquer coated well chuffed and will keep taking my wheels there until I see any other reason not to my opinion only but a photo never lies Arctic
