Question Threadlocker - where to use it (rear end)

Which if any of these need threadlocker:

Anti-roll bar links to anti-roll bar nuts
Anti-roll bar links to upper arm nut & bolt
Anti-roll bar saddle clamp to subframe bolts
Damper top mount to body nuts
Damper to top mount locknut (no)
Damper to trailing arm bolt
Hub nut
Lower arm to trailing arm nut & bolt
Subframe to body bolts (no)
Trailing arm to toe-in adjuster bracket bolt
Toe-in adjuster bracket to body bolts (answer probably no )
Upper arm to trailing arm nut & bolt

TIA

I don't know the answer but when you remove the bolts you will probably see pink stuff on the thread of those bolts that have thread lock on.

I've had a guess and gone on what I can recall seeing

Anti-roll bar links to anti-roll bar nuts ........ no, self locking nuts
Anti-roll bar links to upper arm nut & bolt........ no, self locking nuts
Anti-roll bar saddle clamp to subframe bolts ........no
Damper top mount to body nuts .... don't know
Damper to top mount locknut (no) .... don't know
Damper to trailing arm bolt........ yes
Hub nut......... no
Lower arm to trailing arm nut & bolt........no, self locking nut?
Subframe to body bolts (no) ..... no
Trailing arm to toe-in adjuster bracket bolt ..... don't know
Toe-in adjuster bracket to body bolts (answer probably no ) ..... don't know
Upper arm to trailing arm nut & bolt.... no, not if this is the one with a 15mm bolt head and 18mm nut that sits behind the brake plate.

Damper to trailing arm bolt - Yes, these are Patchlok

Trailing arm to toe-in adjuster bracket bolt - No it's a stiffnut
Toe-in adjuster bracket to body bolts (answer probably no ) - Yes these are Patchlok, however I would wait until you have the tracking set, then remove one at a time to apply

Thanks Ian & Brian.

I'm a bit confused about the term 'stiffnut' - what the heck is a stiffnut?

Also, re the toe-in adjuster bracket to body bolts, the MGR ones (#8 here) are NLA, so the new ones I've got are from Spalding Fasteners as per posts 77-80 here. They're not Patchlok.

Think I need a glossary of bolt & nut terminology - I've never heard of half of these names.

Sometimes known as nyloc or locking nut. A nut with a nylon seal on the top which grips the thread. Should always be replaced if disturbed.

Similar to THESE.

Thanks Mike.

'Stiffnut' - silly name if you ask me. Locking nut, locknut, nyloc - far more sensible. (Not sure if 'nyloc' is a trade name but the other two are generic)

They're all here: https://www.boltscience.com/pages/glossary.htm
Or simply Google any nut or bolt type you haven't come across.

Stiffnuts, as described before, can be found HERE

Not to be confused with Nyloc nuts.....

Both of course are prevailing torque nuts, but with differing designs

Patchlok bolts look like this..........

With varying grades of threadlocking compound pre applied to the threadform

Hope this clarifies things a little

Stiff nut is all steel construction and should not be confused with nylock which if the insert isn’t damaged can be used again

Interesting, it says Nyloc is a registered trade name of Forest Fasteners.
