FBH Help
I have purchased a new FBH from Rimmers.
Two numbers are displayed on the FBH: 98570D and 66724C. (see attached photos) HarryM1BYT states the following Note - Model 66232C (early) requires +12 volt to pin 1 Whereas Model 98570B (later) requires earth to pin 3 My question is, which configaration is applicable to test the my FBH?

The number on the small label is a serial number, you have the later type which needs 0v to pin 3. By coincidence 12v to pin 1 will also work, and that is what the car does when the temperature drops below 5 degrees you would find that pin 1 is supplied with 12v, however if you were to splice in an external 12v there you should insert a blocking diode between it and the cars supply to pin 1. FBH Help
Many thanks David, you were quick out of the blocks!
I was not sure if the 0D rather than 0B made a difference.
