Default Retiring the magic wand.....

As per the title, I'm thinking along the lines of retiring my T4, and becoming a "normal" red subscriber

I simply am not enjoying using it in the way I used to

I would appreciate any thoughts before I make my final decision......

I have the feeling this is going to be a very long thread Brian, all I can say is that you have helped me out numerous times and without you there would be many, many, more 75's & ZT's gone from the roads.

Take a bit of a time out, maybe get a little work done on your little project in the garage, it's amazing what it does for clearing your head when you get chance to work on your own stuff.

Take care bud

That'll be a Sad day, made even sadder as Ive never been to Visit yet.

I'm sure what ever you decide, will be the right move, and only you will know that.

Good Luck.

Brian, your contributions to the technical help forum alone are priceless, you are without doubt one of this clubs most important people, your "magic wand" has transformed absolutely countless cars and the club would be much the poorer without it..

You are undoubtedly one the top people when it comes to understanding both the T4 and our cars...

Please reconsider, as your skills are badly needed, not just in our club, but across the board....

It would be a great loss to all if in fact you do retire the magic wand, however seeing how much you worked last weekend I am not surprised by your thoughts. It cannot be much fun working constantly at a meet , and I am as guilty as the next man in wanting some of your magic for my pride and joy.
I really hope you come to a decision that is good for all and that gets your mojo back.

Just as Trikey has suggested above ...have a sabatical and come back to it later... you may come back full of enthusiasm for the challenges...only you can decide in the long run ...

I am not surprised you are feeling like this Brian as you must be getting a constant stream of "help me" from members on here giving you no quality "my time" either at home with your family or doing your own work.

Take a break marra and enjoy it

It'll be a sad day, but as others have intimated is it that you 'just' want to enjoy meets as a normal member? If so could not those that need the work liaise between you and each other and do the work at another time?

As said have a break and maybe go to the next meet without it and see how you enjoy it..

Best wishes
Steve
