Thanks BigRuss, I traced the wire under the glove box where it was attached to a similar wire which had been cut and had black tape attached to it. My question is, why would someone want to remove the hands free?

could be one that had a cradle for a particular brand of 'old' phone such as a nokia 3 series

People got rid of them thanks to Bluetooth and Parrot devices.
Noticed the Webasto wiring up there too, is that where it is normally routed? Just seems like it's out of it's juristiction up there. Lol

Default Webasto wiring !!!!!!!!!!!

Now you really have me worried, only wiring up there is for sunroof, auto dim mirror and interior light cluster.....I hope!!

Alan, Webasto made the sunroof for our cars


Lots of hands free kits get removed when the owner upgrades and the new phone won't work with it.
