So if the onboard says week 41 and the chassis number comes up with 1.11.99, which is week 44: does this mean they started in week 41 to build and finished on 1.11.99?
Rob
Hi,
I have no idea.
It is possible. Sometimes cars will be removed from the track during the build for a variety of reasons.

Either that or your ecu was programmed "off track" as it were.

To be honest, I am not sure how they used to do that.
I know the instruments and all associated equipment went in as a full dashboard sub assembly that was done elsewhere.

Same as brakes, suspension sub assemblies.

The onboard date is when the IPK was made (hope this is what you meant!)

Hi XPart02.

Would you mind looking up D253892. It's a 1.8 tourer.

Many thanks.

Thank you XPart02. Much appreciated.
Date of first registration was end of October, so it sat around somewhere for over six months.

Hi there Xpart02, I would be interested in the build date of my car. The sticker under the backseat says August 9, 2001.
The VIN is 223037.
