Now this is a clever and at the same time simple piece of kit, think I might invest in one.

His site seems to have disappeared, hope I have not missed out on this one

No, but you can not use text back features without some credit. Ten pounds will last a long time.

It would seem that a period of six months without an chargeable event, call or text will lead to deactivation.

Has anyone fitted the version he is selling now: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/181497590178?

I guess the general idea is the same, with a timer relay etc.
Would like to fit that before winter

C.
It runs until 73/74C then begins ramping its output down, tp finally shut down at77C. As the water cools below that, it restarts - it will continue doing that, until the battery voltage is too low (flat), then stop.

So you do need to turn it off or have it on a timer.

Fix a poor handbrake; DIY ABS diagnostic unit; Loan of the spanner needed to change the CDT belts; free OBD diagnostics +MAF; Correct Bosch MAF cheap; DVB-T install in an ex-hi-line system; DD install with a HK amp; FBH servicing.

I've taken a vow of poverty. To annoy me, send money.

Does anyone know if the relays are still available to set up the remote activation for the FBH please? I'd like to set mine up so that the FBH and interior heaters turn on. Can you get the heated seats to turn on as well ?

His website isn't up anymore

Just as a thought, having read the whole thread could you not connect the spare channel (?) to an immobiliser then if some toerag makes off with your pride and joy all you need to do is send a text to immobiliser the car?
