Default Good news

Just had an email to inform me tooling is complete and will be with the manufacturer today.
I should have a sample middle of next week for a trial fit.
Is there any member near me has a fbh fitted that I can double check the hose on?

Cheers

Default Update

Update on this.

I spoke to the manufacturer yesterday as I hadnt heard anything for a wee while on this to be honest I bent his ear a little about the time it's taking.
Anyhow he has assured me I will have one within the next week to trial fit so plenty of pics to come of this.
If all goes well these will be ready to go right away and will be listed on the manufacturers website for members to buy I'll start a new thread with the link when there ready to go.

Hopefully not to long away with these now.

I may need a favour from a local member with a fbh so I can check that it clears and doesn't foul anything.

Is there any news on this yet? I am interested, but I have noticed there has not been any news for a few weeks.

I was also wondering after a quick trawl of the web, whether a silicone intercooler hose for a Landrover TD4 would fit as I have spotted one place that does them.

Thanks Arctic. Looked at your thread about the alloy intercooler hoses - sounds interesting! Be interested to find out what the relevant costs are.

Yes I've an update but the news I was hoping to be updating with.

I've had a few issues emailing the supplier so finally managed to speak to them on the phone last week and I was advised the 1st was made and was being sent out to me before the end of the week.

This hasn't arrived and I called today and have been advised the guy I've been dealing with is on holiday so I've asked that they get in touch and see what's happening.

I'll update with more info when I can feeling rather let down at the moment.
