Well it seems that it was the Plenum........................... as I have had no more water ingress since. The right rear foot well is slightly damp right now due to the dog standing on the window switch and opening the window which I did not notice and it rained in.

Was your plenum all blocked up then? Mine is OK but still leaking in rain water had enough of it now

Yes the one under the ECU was blocked when I bought the car but I managed to clear it and re-seat the drain tube which had been pushed down. Reading the forums here helped me trace it and know where and how to unblock it.

That's good news then. My plenums are OK but still got water leaking in somewhere. Annoying times

Hello all i used flashband to seal leaks inside the body just put a patch over the leak and heat with heat gun worked for me

Just been trying to find the source of the leak, lifted up the carpet in the drivers footwell, sprayed the car with water but couldn't see any water coming in. Noticed that the plenum was building up with water on the drivers side, the plenum tube was totally blocked under the brake servo. Was difficult to get to but managed to unblock it with a long reach grabber (the kind use to pick up screws) with a thick pipe cleaner wound round it. It's draining nicely now so fingers crossed, but not holding my breath.

Have you cut the tubes at a 45 degree angle under the car to open them a bit, this way they do not stick together when wet link below

Thank you I will look in to this. Can water get in to drivers footwell from blocked plenum?
