Before anyone rushes in to buy these yukky wheels, be prepared to spend hours keeping them clean

I have those wheels too and must admit I agree with Brian they are a swine to keep clean and the centre caps are both terrible and unavailable, I went down the sticker route for my centre caps however how long before they peel off!

Some chaps on the valeting forum recommend poorboys wax for the wheels, helps preserve the lusture!

Platinum gold, MCN certainly not at the top of my list of favourite colours, unlike firefrost, or BRG3

Ive used city powder coaters in Birmingham to do a set of Meteors about 12 months ago and they are still doing £20/wheel. Came back looking like new, very pleased with the result. Like you logistics were an issue but I was lucky having a friend with relatives in Brum.

Funny that Graham, given the price of 16" tyres, I'd considered fitting the Comets I took off my tourer .
Now the seven spoke wheels on Frosty, I've just treated myself to four spanking new Uniroyals.
'll be digging out the tyre changer tomorrow, but by the cringe the tyres cost more than I paid for the car
