Red face Camshaft Sensor Part Number NSC100890L or NSC100891L

The commonly accepted part number for a camshaft sensor for a Rover 75 diesel M47R engine is NSC100891L, according to Rimmer's et al.
On my travels, I have come across the part number NSC100890L, as being suitable for a TD4.
Is this a typo ?
Can NSC100890L be used ?

Late to the party! They're both the same, and can indeed be used inter-changeably.

Ordering a NSC100890L on eBay delivers a "GKN18PC 1016-09", which does not exist according to a Google and eBay search.

Very strange.

Next step is to test it, see if it works.
