Just thinking about it the horn has a permanent 12v feed that can be tapped into, LED's will be on all the time, but the drain will be minimal 2 leds in the audio controls and 2 in the CC.

I have just ordered some parts for this I am going to have a go at this, and yes the 12V from the horn button is what I was thinking I will report back once I have tried it out on my spare steering wheel.

The switches on the steering wheel are in the earth side of the circuit, not the 12v side.
When pressed they connect the coil of the horn relay to earth. |

Move the supply for the horn to an ignition switched source, or fit a relay in line with it, which is powered by an ignition switched source.

My vauxhall Astra has lit switches on the steering wheel and I did notice the lack of lighting when I got the 75. Has looked into it and the Astra ones are hollow with a light inside Didn't know how to get this done

If they only switch ground then this will prove difficult to do, as for connecting it to the ignition source, that would pose a problem. As I noticed when I changed my steering wheel, the connection that the loom from the steering wheel plugs into, rotates when the steering wheel is turned so they work on a mechanical contact system.
