I would love another dog Andy, and the kids are desperate fir one, but we are both out all day, and I don't agree with having a dog and leaving it alone all day.The ladt time I had a dog was before I got married, he was quite old by then and didnt need alit of exercise., plus my mother was retired by then so he had company most of the day. When we got married I sort of inherited the wife's family dog, and she used to leave him with her parents during the day. After they passed away, she would come hom at lunchtime to let him out for a bit.Been 19 years since we last owned a dog, sometimes we look after the neighbour's dog if they go away.

Cod fillets in Hollandaise sauce with new spuds carrots & asparagus for tea

As soon as I get out of my chair both of the cats are in there

Cool

Morning all.

Grey and overcast this morning. Rained overnight and supposed to get some more today.

Completion day today on the house. Just need the keys so that I can start the move.

Looks like their might be a hospital visit for me for some more tests. However their is some reasonable good news. My diabetes is on the decline, cholesterol count has dropped quite a way, lost 8lbs in weight since this time last year. My liver and kidneys are operating at 90%, which is excellent for a man of my age. Heart is functioning well, blood pressure is spot on. Urine test was also spot on.

Had my pneumonia jab protecting me against 23 strains of the pneumonia bug. My shoulder feels like it’s been hit with a sledgehammer and is sore.

Still have pain though hence the hospital tests.

Doesn’t sound good Bob, hope you get some relief. Cloudy and overcast here this morning, like Cornwall it rained most of the night here, didn’t get out on my bike last night, won’t get out tonight either, as I’m collecting daughter from railway station, so will be tomorrow before I get out again.
