Good morning all and welcome I wonder what the day will bring? I think it will rain. Jessica’s masseuse visits every Sunday afternoon as it helps with her back and keeps her happy

Thats the way Rich.
The only successful diet is to change your eating habits long term.
My big problem was cakes and pies so we just don't buy them now.
Lots more fish and fresh fruit and veg in the diet seems to be working another 2lbs and I will have shed 5 stone now just 11lb left to my 13 stone target.
Cheers Ian

That’s some going Ian, you are correct though, if you stop buying the ‘bad’ stuff you can’t eat it!

Ian you have done really well and I admire your will power. At some of the breakfast meets I go to when I am in the UK, you should see what some of the guys pack away, in particular the venues where it’s tempting to eat as much as is possible. A few will get thru 3-4 plates of eggs, sausages, bacon, baked beans and fried bread, grits, black pudding Seriously it’s a problem because the big guys with the big appetites are super sensitive about their weight, how can I tell them about it without hurting their feelings. They are nice blokes and I don’t want them to become cardiac or diabetic cases.

I am down to nearly 5 stone off since February, 2 weeks in hospital and losing my teeth helped. Mr Kipling Apple Pies, I love them but are not sold here. Like yourself Ian, I eat fish, fresh veg and fresh fruit instead.

Afternoon all, it's very been very windy here with heavy rain, It''s stopped now and the sun has come out but it's still a bit wild out there. I had to put the tomato plants I had in planters back in the greenhouse as they were getting battered down with wind & rain this morning

Corned beef hash for tea tonight

Dito Cakes, pies, biscuits and chocolate was my downfall Ian. I've not eaten chocolate now for over four years, not even a nibble. We still have these foods in the house as Tracey and the girls still enjoy indulging from time to time, but I myself can now leave all the naughty stuff alone.

You will find all that lovely naughty food you once ate Ian, the craving soon goes after about 12 months, you no longer look at it in the same way. You soon become accustom to the dangers and proportions you once were used too, you find yourself doing a complete u-turn.

Once your learn to maintain your ideal weight, everything falls into place and the daily relationship you have with food becomes a much easier and healthy one.

Well done to you and Jan, I cant wait to see the new you.
