LOL you're right I decided to do something when I found out I could get some plywood today delivered.

We had a piece of shin beef in the freezer so I'm making a beef casserole in the slow cooker for tea. smells good already.

Blimey - it's quiet in here this morning. I was up and around at 7.00am, but couldn't get onto the site - "Bad Gateway" message on an otherwise blank page
Looks like someone has re-wound the mainspring

It's a foul, filthy, dark, dismal, damp, cold miserable morning up here - early frost last night turned to drizzle in the early hours. Just taken my grand daughter to school - pesky staff insisted on keeping the kids in the playground until 8:50 am rather than letting them into school to keep dry and warm
I'm all for kids being exposed to the great outdoors, but standing there with rain dripping off your nose and shivering seems a bit daft to me

Has Dawn broken the pudding basin then? Be cheaper to get another basin from the charity shop. In Highgate North London the barbers wanted £26 for a dry haircut.

£11 down my way, not that I've got much left for them to work with

Blimey I'd expect a full English & bus fare home at that price 5quid for a trim & 7 quid for a haircut here, the other hairdressers in town has a sign up outside saying 'pay what you want' it's always packed.
