Default Adjuster nut - Handbrake lever

Again, I've found another bodge on the Firefrost that now needs sorting for MOT time.

The adjuster nut on the handbrake lever has been over tightened and will not undo from the short handbrake cable, so I can't get the handbrake adjusted properly as this has led to stretching of the compensator which will also need fixing.

I'm guessing the only way to sort this is to remove the interior and handbrake lever assembly to cut the nut of, and replace it along with the short cable.

Thanks in advance for any quicker remedial options.

Ben.
