Somerset festival of transport
Just thought i would take this opportunity to say hello from a new member. I live in Bristol and have just bought a 2001 pre project 75 CDT Connoisseur SE Auto. It is silver and has the highline satnav upgrade, projection(?) headlights, diesel heater and many more things I am sure I will find.
If any of you attended the recent Bath Motor Cavalcade I would have been the chap who guided your classic car into it's parking place and also organized the parade ring. Any info on recommended Rover wizards or recommended garages would be appreciated. I have been looking for a 75 for some time now and have finally found the one I wanted or nearly as the Ayatollah barred me from getting another "****** great big" estate car as we already have one. It is a car I never thought I would own namely a series 111 Renault Laguna 2.0 cdti tourer on a 10 plate which is,quite frankly, one of the best cars I have ever owned. I never thought I would say that about a Renault! Anyway I hope to meet some of you in the future and I am planning, if time permits, attending the Sparkford show. |
