Unhappy abs problem update

Tried resistance test andvoltage test checked wireing all sensors apear to work no signs of problem with wiring so took to my local garage as mot expired, to whom are friends they checked with there diagnostic equipment showed fault but not where it was only that sesors okay? So had to take to local was austen rover/dealer explained to them they done diagnostic showed faults every where so had to clear all data and road test fault then showed to be rear L.H wheel renewed sensor fault still showing fault now they say is rear hub which aparently has a disk? to which sensor reads is damaged.
They also inform me have broken rear spring and would i like mot done.
so asked them to sort my crankshaft oil seal and do engine service plus fit one new tyre and bulb etc i,m still in shock £910 bill all because of a little abs light i could not cure
