Ford do not own Jaguar.. Tata do.. They also bought Land Rover and the Rover brand..

Jag is British.. Built in Britain by British workers paying British taxes..
You wouldn't say that TVR was Russian would you?

Mostly the same people making the cars now as did 10 years ago..

It's funny as MG Rover were working Closely with Tata (CityRover being a Tata Car) and now they own the brand..

Global warming is a fact. There is loads of evidence to prove it if you care to look for it..

Why is it so difficult to believe that all us humans are polluting the atmosphere? You think all the pollution flies off into space or what?

If:- We assume we pollute and clean up our act, no harm will be done. But if we ignore it, and we are wrong, then the young will have a dreadfull time in the near future.. That's our choice..

I am very glad I am not a youngster today, my personal belief is that too many already wealthy people are making far too much money to want any changes in the status quo, so nothing, or very little, will be done, that I think, will result in millions of deaths before the end of this century..

On the bright side, I wont be here to watch it happen..

As my post stated I believe in Global Warming.. And the possibility that we are contributing towards it.. However I think we are only speeding up what occurs naturally anyhow..

I think we should be looking at population control more than what directly causes global warming if anything does...
With the population increasing at such a rate we cannot sustain our food production and turn to drastic measures.. Look at the affects of cattle farming in Brazil as an example.. It’s about time all the churches and all governments started to advocate birth control.

If we could stop the rate of growth and look to decrease the population the affects of us sharing the planet will also decrease.

I'm still going to buy a V8 but with the mileage I'll do in it it will be a low emisson car..

>>>I'm still going to buy a V8 but with the mileage I'll do in it it will be a low emission car<<<

PPhhffttt.. What's the point in owning it, if you ain't gonna use it?

I do agree about the population, but I also believe it's all too little and far too late..

One possible solution could be that the wars that will break out due to lack of food etc may reduce the population enough to solve the food thing, but that won't help prevent Atlantic conveyor problem, or the melting ice caps and glaciers.

Maybe if enough pollution gets up into the atmosphere the reduction in sunlight may, to some extent, offset the warming effect.. Peeps will still have flooding and the UK an ice age to contend with, but at least they wont need such dark sunglasses eh?

Maybe the worlds epitaph will read "I told ya this was happening" eh? Apologies to Spike for nicking his joke. ..
