Terry & June
We have SWMBO's mother staying, (SWMBOM?). She has just announced that there is a June Whitfield program starting at 9 O'clock and to add that bit of spice we could watch Terry & June first.
Personally I would rather have my teeth extracted. What would you do?

Terry and June wasn't ever one of my favourites.
Mind you, I am considered a little eccentric because I didn't like Morecambe and Wise Surely you must have a patch of wet paint you can watch drying instead? |

Not particularly a Terry and June fan, but on the box the other night were the supposedly "best" comedy programmes -- the foul-mouthed Catherine Tate's "Nan", the genital-obsessed Jonathan Ross et al.
At least you could sit down to watch the likes of T&J with your mother-in-law, or your mother!! Comedy, like nostalgia, ain't what it used to be........................ Malcolm

I would far prefer to watch Terry & June & most other sit-coms of the 70's/80's than most of the rubbish currently on offer.
