Default Gerry Tee - Where does it actually go?

Having read the threads on the Gerry Tee & with Lates undertaking a full service for me in a couple of weeks, I ordered and received in no time the well made Gerry Tee. Gerry3 asked if all ok and saying yes I thought well let's have a look where this fits.

Well numpty as I am and even after looking at some threads with drawings I can not see where exactly the tee fit's in the cooling system. The only T joint I can see is bottom right of the radiator as you look into the engine bay, but this appears smaller than the Gerry Tee.

Obviously the Tee is right but can someone please point out where I should be looking on the car for it as I need to confirm to Gerry3 that the smaller 8mm pipe is correct!

I have a 1.8T

Thanks in helping me not look a complete idiot

Just looked and I must be going simple but there is def no T on top of the rad, had work mates check too. The hose comes from the top of the radiator then straight into the engine block?

Are there different versions on the 1.8T (2003) without a Gerry Tee?

Thanks Stevemac but my hose running along the top of the rad is solid - no joins ????

Is this where it goes? I just got this pic off the net, I do not have a Tee here just a solid hose connecting with one clip?

Anyone at the next meet got one I can look at or at least someone look at my coolant set up?

Very frustrating

Really can't get any clearer than this, if it's not there then you don't have a 1.8T

This is the small pipe leading to the turbo.

Stevemac - then what the hell do I have because that section to the right of the red ring is not on my engine !!!!!! It's a solid pipe that goes straight into the engine block. My engine otherwise looks like the picture is marked 16 valve twin cam and all the paperwork says 1.8T but no B****Y T for sure definate definate in that pipe.

What the hell is happening here !!!!

If that's not the same as his engine and he hasn't got a T piece then as I said before, Parker is not a 1.8 turbo.
