I built mine into a large hypodermic syringe, with the cannula replaced by a long sharp needle, so it could pierce cable insulation. A simple idea, but very useful and which seems to have fallen out of use.

Bought these when you suggested them maybe a couple of years ago, but love the extra functionality of using them to remove stubborn hoses.

Knocked this up for cold pressure testing.
Didn't cost anything, just used what was laying around in the garage, so pure GhettoTech. Did the same with this injector puller: And this adjustable sprocket holder: A home made tap to clean up the rear trailing arm bracket threads Injector Leakback testing: And a holding tool for the crankshaft pulley: All available for borrowing if you are local enough to pick them up and drop them off again. . It needed to be mate - the first weight you see at the right hand side didn't have quite enough umph.

I've just replaced a thread in my engine due to killing it trying to get a stuck injector out, I had to use a slide hammer too, they can stick rather well when they want to.
