These noises are annoying when you have checked everything but it’s still there.

One thing to eliminate is noises within the cabin - I remove everything from the door pockets and under the seats and see if that sorts it. The reason being I had a clunk on my old Discovery - I checked everything - spent ages tracking down a fault that didn’t exist!

What caused the clunk was a WD40 can under the passenger seat rolling about.

I was both relieved and mightily annoyed with myself for assuming the worst when the real problem was a simple one.

Also it was my son in the passenger seat that realised the clunk was under his seat. Odd noises in cars travel to odd places!!
