It's been train driving weather on the TSW3 today. Scenario set in the Winter of 1991 on the then new electric high speed ICE 1 going from Frankfurt to Berlin.

In a way I'm relieved as dementia was starting to take a hold properly and there were days that she didn't recognise her Daughter (My Mum) and her Son (Uncle)

I haven't seen her since lockdown was implemented because of the strict rules that were put in place at care homes. Only my Mum snd Uncle were allowed visits.

In someways it saved me from seeing her becoming a shell of the person I knew but I still feel guilty just the same. Not that I could have done anything about it.

This was my Nan a few years back...

I was lucky to have such a wonderful Nan throughout my life.
