It contains 4 Cartridges that have reset chips i.e. do not show 'life' to the system, each cartridge is full and the refillable reservoirs hold about 100ml each. As said above all at about 10% of original cartridge costs and cheaper proportionally all the time.
I only wish I had done this years ago, all I can say is that if in doubt – go for it…

This prints lots of lines in pretty colours and then to, make you think that it's actually done something, it prints a picture of a colourful fuzzy bird and then an arrow pointing to a picture of a colourful clear bird!

Who are they (Hewlett Packard) trying to kid, eh? The more ink they make you use the sooner you have to shell out on another cartridge.



And, another thing, the message ' cartridge low - replace with new cartridge' comes up when the thing's still half full - change it as soon as they say and you throw away a half full cartridge.

I have to admit I had a good old chuckle with this post! Your absolutely right though!!! I "never" change the cartridges when informed to do so - I just wait until the print quality is so rubbish you cant read it! And as for colour, well when that has run out of one of the primarys, I just print odd coloured pics! Then I buy cheap replacements off the internet - never the machine brands! Thats just me tho! My wife says I am a miser!

I use a Colour laser Printer,
much, much cheaper in the Long run and better quality.
(not the cheap £299 variety which toners cost an arm and leg to subsidise the cheap selling price)

And the cheap laser printers aren't good for images also. They won't do the quality of an good ink jet printer.

i got a epson R1900 8 carts on a quick fill system and each cart costs me £150 lol but bottle fill is cheaper
