Hi.
Probably the reversing switch, it,s under the gearbox n/s front wheel.
Costs around £10 to buy and about 20 mins to do the job it,s not a hard job.

Could even be as simple as the electrical contact needs cleaning. Pull off and on a couple of times.

My switch played up and wouldn't work. I took it out and pinged the spring part up and down a few times.

THAT WAS OVER SIX MONTHS AGO AND IT'S STILL WORKING PERFECTLY NOW.

Ooops . Sorry ,hits caps lock by mistake.

Bought a ratchet set and did this today. Switch wasn't stiff but pressed it a few times and put it back in. I now have reversing lights and sensors working for the first time. (I did take the wrong wheel off first though )

A new one is about £5.40 from Eurocarparts. Now you know where it is and what it does, you may as well change it and forget about it. I changed mine about 4months ago.

See my November post above. Mine is still working over a year after giving it a few pings so I can't really see the point in touching it again.

Colvert.

( If it ain't broke, don't try to fix it. )

Take it out, check the operation out of the gear box, give it a clean and pop it back in
