The three monthly hormone treatment injections I'm on ( Prostap) have tiredness, hot flushes, sweats among some other more serious side effects, I'm having all these fatigue/sweats symptoms aplenty since the injection

Just back from the DVT dept & I've to carry on taking the apixaban blood thinners for the foreseeable future. Also got high blood pressure now after being tested this morning which I've never had before

I think I might snowfoam the car & charge it up to full before the price of leccy goes up on the 1st October

Thanks Ian,

Not such good news received this morning though.

Sydney hadn't managed to pee again this morning and his bladder was full.
He has had an X-ray late this morning and that found a mass of stones/crystals still in his bladder.
We have consented for them to operate to remove the mass and fingers crossed that will solve the problem and he gets through the surgery.

He will have to remain in under observation until at least Friday and will be under a special diet once home.

This operation and hospitlasition is going to be about another £2000 plus the X-rays etc. About £5000 in total

We were planning on having a new bathroom fitted. That might have to wait a while now!

Finally got my DVT appointment later this morning with the deep vein thrombosis consultant at Bolton.
My left calf is still swollen compared to my other calf which looks like I missed every leg day in the gym
In better news. Phil has sent a message to say he is back on the ward and out of ICU. Still in a lot of pain though.

Hopefully that will be managed for him and for a speedy and positive recovery.

Edit.......Hit return too fast....Doh!!

Good news that you have now got your appointment Ian and hope it goes well for you

Oh no! Poor Sydney, sorry to hear the wee man is having more problems., Fingers crossed for more good news there. Sounds like my problems only it's prostate related, I have to go for a Flow test next week where I have to pee in a special toilet to see how strong my pee stream is or not as it is now Got to have a bladder scan too.

I've been manuring up the greenhouse beds ready for next year with farmyard manure & bone meal, It stinks in there now

Just planted some elephant garlic cloves & some onion seeds in beds in one of the greenhouses to over Winter.

Some years ago, I had a head on collision with a tractor and trailer......
today I saw this:-

It brought it all back. I shouldn't have looked.

Dear me! I was reading the other day that they're wanting to bring tractors into HGV licencing as some of those tractor trailer outfits can weigh 40t with no driving hour restrictions whatsoever. https://www.thescottishfarmer.co.uk/...ence-tractors/

That's really not nice.

It'll be interesting to see what unfolds in due course - no pun intended. The car driver doesn't seem to be doing anything except minding their own business on their side of the road.

Time and I expect a very thorough investigation will tell.

Bleedin' NHS! Got a letter about my covid booster . . . . trying to send me to a vaccination centre in the middle of Haddington over an hour and two buses away Pig sick of telling the NHS any location in Haddington is no use to me. Phoned the helpline, woman most apologetic that Haddington isn't suitable, went on to read other vaccination centres but obviously had no clue where they are in relation to me, including one about 30 miles away on the other side of Edinburgh No idea why they're trying to send me to Haddington, all the other covid jabs have been about ten minutes away in Musselburgh.

I've to phone again nearer the time when more appointments and locations will be available.
