What is this black bracket for?
The second picture in the first post, screwed in with 6 bolts
http://www.the75andztclub.co.uk/foru...ad.php?t=95086 I got this sent to me with a EOM parking aid, looking at this picture I cannot see what is the purpose of the bracket At the same time, the parking aid ECU, what is it screwed to? The car body? I thought the bracket was for the ECU, then I saw this post |

If you study my picture the ECU has it's own little bracket with 2 studs either side of the box & a leg which bolts through the big bracket with the 2 bolts to the left of centre in the pic

I've seen them with both types so not a problem there, you just need those plastic captives having said that some ordinary metal speed clips would do the job

Thanks Colin,
Your right speed clips would suffice, didn't think of that, but any idea if those captives are easy to get? I'm wondering if vibrations will be an issue |

Dont know to be honest, I usually grab them when I get a "kit" out of a car. I have in the past drilled new holes & screwed the bracket straight onto the little lugs on the body & it worked fine
