Very Grateful
Many thanks to Simon and everyone else.
Interesting day, enjoyable journey and great food at a very reasonable price in the Hatfeild Arms. If I hadn't gone today, who knows when I might have discovered my split turbo / egr hose? What a mess that could have made. A quick and free temporary repair was provided by our host Well I now know (with the hose repaired) power is about right. Torque is better than normal, but can't explain my high fuel consumption. So it looks like I'll be off to get the injectors checked very soon.

Let's not spoil the later Thread that Simon is creating. All I can say is that it wouldn't have won if the Balance VIS was not changed and if yours truly didn't have a spare in his boot and a VIS tester.

Can't wait to see the results - would love to see a power graph from a remapped diesel too (not just the headline figures)

Again, without spoiling the future thread and the graphs, some diesels were somewhat disappointing. Only one ECU tune seemed to do what it said on the tin.

If it clears things up, no timing belts or chains were harmed in the making of the new thread.
