Pollen Filters
Are there two sizes of pollen filter used on Rover 75's?
I came to change the filter on one of the V6 limousines. I have a brand new pollen filter in the MG Rover box with part number JKR00030 which is the correct item listed for all models of 75. Only trouble is it's much smaller than the one fitted to the car . There is another number listed JKR00040, superseded by JKR00041, also shown as applicable to all models. Because no sizes are given, I don't know if this is the larger one or not. Can anyone shine a light into my gloom .

That's rather odd Jeremy as I've always used oem MGR part JKR000030 in my last two 75's, in fact I've still got one in the shed that I never got round to using for my last one.
Can't really help you with that, sorry. |

Part Number JKR000030 is the current pollen filter for all models including the V8.
Comparing their prices, I'd say JKR000041 is the 'odour eater' active carbon type, but all versions should be the same size TC Last edited by T-Cut; 6th June 2012 at 11:48.. |
