Default free digital editing programmes

for those looking to edit there own photographs I can reccemend these two programmes which are totally free no catches I promise they are PHOTOSCAPE and PICASA both are downloads of course but if you go to Cnet to download them they are guaranteed virus or malware free ther is one more you may wish to consider and its Photoperfect express made by Serif I believe. all worht trying and cost nowt as the say up north !!!

Hiya Mike... I have just down loaded Photo scape as you recommended....Must say I do like it...

Hi Poppy glad to have been of help its one I reccemend to my students at the over 50 centre I am a voluntary teacher on how to get best from your digital camera however humble it may be & most do take some great photos in exotic locales I have to say.

Hiya Mike. I do use my digital camera a lot. More or less just every day shots though....Just like to point and shoot me... But I do like the editing on photo scape.. I am going to have a mess around with it in a minute or so...lol. Poppy

Thanks Mike. Photoscape seems perfect for marking up images to post on the site - nice and quite easy to use too.

Sounds like a great prog. Tried to install but was forced Google Chrome on me so I declined.

I now use Google Chrome.... Hate IE and Firefox keeps on crashing... Have found chrome much better.... Anyway, you could always down load and then get rid of chrome if you do not want it....

Do you have a program for macs which includes the distortion handles for those images which need pulling in or stretching
