Just returned from yet another visit to Malta which has become our second home.

This time I have spotted several UK plated 75's (recent imports) one if I recall correctly from memory was HW54 AWX but I spotted two others one a Maltese registered tourer with 075 on the plate.

Unfortunately I did not have my camera with me most of the time.

This time we were invited to a wedding and what a difference to the ones back home. We started eating just after mid day and finished just after 6 pm.

Me and the wife are off to malta next month, we have been 6-7 times and love it. I first went when I was a kid (12 or so)and remember the old buses and the cars being in a right state, things have got better these days but the locals still love the Brits and the island is full of history (war etc) its not just for old farts as most of my mates say (I'm 29 and the wife is 28 and given a choice we would go every year if we could and if I had money for a holiday home it would be there !

I'm off to Malta this week to go to the Valletta Grand Prix. It's a 4 day event. Hill climb, concours in M'dina Cathederal Square & two days of racing on local roads around M'dina. Lots of classic cars of all makes. last year thre were 8 Bugatti 35's racing.Well worth a visit.

I can't believe I've missed this as I'm in Malta at present.

Still I've been keeping a lookout for 75's etc and I've spotted a UK plate MG ZTT in Birkirkarra, also spotted the tourer with the DC plate a few times.
There are still a few surviving but one royal blue example spotted had severe front end damage on the near side right up onto the sill but it was still mobile.

This is my third visit this year to Malta and just recently the bendy buses were all taken off the road after several apparently caught fire. IMO these should never have been on the island as they were totally unsuitable. I believe they were originally running the streets in London but now they are all parked up in Floriana just outside Valetta.

I'm off to Malta on the 18th for 11 days. Typical, there'll be nowt going on while I'm there.

Apart from cheap beer, sunshine, good food, pleasant company, cheap beer, warmth, and cheap beer.

Apart from that, nowt.
