Default when selling, what is a????

what Rover 75 is this? Rover 75 Connie in white gold or Connoisseur SE

please, if you are going to advertise a car please put in your advert if it is a saloon or Tourer, diesel or petrol, CDT or CDTI, 1.8 or 1.8 turbo, 2 litre or 2.5 , auto or manual.
Only clue I got was cam belt changed.
I appreciate fully that some people my instantly know what model the car is but I am not one of them and I bet I'm not the only one that does not know.... go on, all prove me wrong

Quite correct. An accurate, factual well worded advert will in my view attract more attention and views than a vague whitewash. In fact those that are vague or poor I simply don't read further anyway. My good lady is a bit of an ebay addict and her ads are always excellent. Guess what? She sells everything and frequently has a nice competitive auction going on and a good selling price results. Its laziness to do it any other way in my view. Its other stuff though that frustrates, out of focus photos, photos posted the wrong way up etc etc.

It's not just that, I've often seen adverts that just look like a load of computer code.

For example:

Rover 75 2.5 Connoisseur SE

110K, VGC, E/M, A/T, E/W, PAS, R/C/L, ATC, CD, TCS, E/S/R, NAV, CC, FSH

Now I understand that the majority of people would know what all that means, but if you're buying a car for the first time and you come across an advert like this your brain would just implode.
