I must be getting old, after the last 2 weeks wrapping presents.Got up Christmas morning, loaded car with sacks for sons house, back to the house loaded car up with sacks for daughters house. Then up the club for my once a year drink with male relatives. Drinking as many vodkas as i can in 2 hours. Back to daughters for Christmas lunch. Then slept the rest of the day.
The problem is,the g/children are grown up 2x 18yrs and 1 12 yrs. Nearly all presents were clothes. I miss the fun of playing with the toys they had when they were young and their excitement. Merry Christmas everyone, from a grumpy old man.

It's been a long day, 90% of it spent in the kitchen, going up to bed now to recharge the batteries ( Nothing to do with Anne Summer toys). Looking forward to bubble and squeek tomorrow.
Goodnite all, sleep tight and as Derek would say 'Don't let the bed bug's bite'. Zzzzzzz.

A very good morning to everyone, I had a good night's sleep and batteries now fully charged. I lovely cup of tea in front of me while while watching proper news on All Jazeera. I've gone right off Sky News, too many women sat around a table with the presenter makes it more like a chat show. Anyway, Bacon and Egg Banjos will be on the menu here in about an hour's time, all welcome, free of charge of course. This still the season of good will to all men.... And women I suppose

Morning all - a very late start for me this morning - every time I stuck my nose out from under the duvet, it was perishing - so I stuck it back again.
We had an absolutely lazy day yesterday - only crossed the threshold to take some rubbish to the bin. After Christmas Dayu spent with son, daughter-in-law, grandson, granddaughter, daughter, daughter's husband to be, and additionally, at tea time, son's in-laws (4 including an uncle) - it was great to be just the two of us on Boxing Day. At the moment, I am trying to ignore lots of blatant hints from SWMBO that she would like to nip out and have a nose around Tesco and Asda
