Lovely day was had by my myself, Imogen and my parents.....

Many thanks to the organisers for yet another successful meet. It was good to see again the persistent faces and also some new ones.

Plus I won a prize on the raffle - can't be bad!

Just got back home - was that great traffic on the M6 or what?!?

Didn't see the hall, gardens or grounds, didn't see the museum - saw the cafeteria and that was about it ... too busy ... but still had fun

I'll upload some pics ... must be off now to get children off to bed ready for school, and me to remember what I am meant to be doing tomorrow!

Thanks all for coming - once again it was great

Just like to add our thanks to actros for the sterling marshalling work he did. He kept out the riff-raff too, which wasn't easy seeing as most just didn't seem to realise something just might be going on and they really should park somewhere else.......

I didn't post when I arrived home last night as it was very late, so I went straight to bed. That M6. What a total rubbish way to spend the end of what was a fab day.
I stopped at Lancaster services on the way home. Saw a couple of 75s in the carpark and a glimpse of Actros inside. Then passing over the bridge, I saw JDC crawling along the road underneath. I can report that his bumper was still attached still at that point.

Many thanks to all involved in the organisation. A top job well done.

Thanks to Jules for doing the bonnet cabe mod for me. What a great bloke.

See you all next time.

Tom.

An excellent day - many thanks to the organisers for all their hard work, and even the weather was not as bad as predicted. But yes, the southbound M6 was not the best way to end the day - fortunately we only had to go as far as junction 19!

Really good to see pictures uploaded so soon after the event.

Excellent day, good venue.
Some very interesting things in the museum and the house was very "grand". The staff in the house were very informative and took the time to point out things to the children and answer their many questions.

Got home late after a tiring journey, the heavy traffic continued all the way, M6, M42, M40 all bad. It seems odd to say that the lightest traffic was on the M25!

Thanks to all the organisers and helpers who made the day great.

Looking forward to the next one.
