Re-chroming mirrors

Having just bought a set of chrome door mirrors I wondered if anyone had ever had them re-chromed? Should not be difficult or expensive I would have thought?

I looked into aswell, and yes, it is expensive I've been told, cheaper to buy Good Chrome ones.......

Yes, you can't get a good finish rechroming plastic!

Just get some new chrome covers from Xpart.

I recently managed to graze my new (to me) Chrome bulletts on a brick wall (

). Ordered a new set (2 covers) from XPart for around the £60 mark (can't remember exact price). Both mirrors now look brand new (

).
