On the up side soon remaining 1.8 owners will be able to sell their cars on ebay using that word 'rare' and they'll be telling the truth..

180 Sports Auto.

In fact considering one at present as the old bike wound is giving me some grief when changing gear.

Trouble is I love my black 1.8T. Warts and all.

If I could afford the fuel bill, that Series 3 Daimler Double six Van Den Plas would do for me..

Realistically though, it would have to be another MK1 75 Conny CDTi auto..

When the day comes to replace th 75 (hopefully not any time soon), it will be one of the following 4 cars (depending on cost of fuel):

Ford Focus Mk2
X-type Jag
VW Passat
Skoda Octavia

I think I'd be looking for a Mondeo with a V6 petrol engine.

I really honestly cannot see myself in any other car I love the 75, as said earlier "Warts and all".

The only other car I would have is another 600 - for now and the foreseeable future its 75 all the way .

I have no interest in modern cars, they are all too samey and too be honest boring. Unless you got cash to splash, then maybe you can get something a bit "different".
