I might be able to come to this but as usual I can't guarantee it the way things are at the moment for me.

Mannie you can just head straight down the A43 into Stamford but you'll probably get held up by a lorry or two, it always happens to me when I'm late for something on that road!

Sorry chaps I didn't check when the house opened again for spring. I think if the house is not open then the park won't be but I will check.

If need be I will postpone for a few more weeks and post up an alternative meet date. Sorry to cause any inconvenience.

***UPDATE The park is open 365 days a year so this meet is ON see you there.

A local meet for local people.

It's looking like a fine weekend, come and join us. If you need help or advice, there will be be a few experts around to assist, or just come along to show off your shiny motor.

See you there.

Hi all it is with some sadness that I might have to be a non attender this Sunday. Spigot bearing (crank End) has dissolved Causing the gearbox input shaft to then have end whip which inturn ruined the end of the shaft also putting too much load onto the main gearbox beaing putting paid to that as well. So new gearbox was sourced but on closer inspectiom the dissintergrating spigot bearing also did for the clutch and pressure plate.

I have now just had the last bits delivered to Nick @ Austin Garages (top man for anything MG/Rover). but I don't think it will be ready in time for Sunday worse luck, and it will be some time before i get over the cost of this. Spigot Bearing £13.50 All the other bits it damaged so far £1300 then I have labour ontop and the job is an Engine out to get it done.

Have a good meet see you all soon................I hope.

Great setting and would love to join you guys - but will be en route to a certain pre-football match lunch - a special 50th birthday celebration for me. (Well, to be precise, the 10th anniversary of my 50th!).

Shame this wasn't on Sunday morning - would have fitted perfectly with my return journey).
