Default Meet Woody

Been trying to get a decent shot of our resident Woodpecker for ages, they're just too scitty and never still for a second.
Anyway, managed to get a good pic of him the other day robbing the peanuts

A great photo Paul and nice bokeh! Thank you for sharing. A difficult shot, a beautiful looking bird, sharp and clear

p.s apology, run out of thanks.

Good shot. Not easy to catch. Managed to get this in California but not as clear as yours.

I cheat and snap them while sitting at my pc. Seeing these shots has given me the urge to take a few more. I have a woody on the peanut feeder as I type. So coffee first then bird shots. Thanks for the inspiration.

Edit: Well I got the tripod out and it started to rain
