after freezing to death last year at the pol meet i have a cunning plan.several of my mates will be at this meet.i am staying at home in bed.until i get a call saying its warm and the suns out.my head will emerge from under the duvet.nose will twitch eys blink in the sun.then i will drive to the meet.so most probally will not be there

I did PM Paul,asking the question,he replied saying that a venue for the National has not been finalised as yet and they are still working hard at it,the club has approached a certain venue but the owners have not replied to Pauls enquiry.

I am sure an announcement will be made shortly.

You are quite right. I recall having to retreat to the car with the engine running and heater on, as it was so cold. Not to worry the flask of hot tea and sandwiches helped. I would have liked to have walked round and seen everything, the different clubs attending. I must be getting soft in my old age to let the weather get to me. A couple of hours and I called it a day. You joined me for dinner and breakfast for the first night at the Premier, then on the second night I went over to meet up with the lads from the Cardiac Cafe at the Travel Lodge

a thoroughly enjoyable time away from the car talk. Will you be driving up to the POL in one of the convoys?
