I wish I could afford to do half of what you have done to your car but the closest I will ever get is reading your posts and looking at your brilliant pics, I hope we cross paths at a meet one day so I can at least see it in person just once mind you I don't think you want your car covered in drool
Hi John,

I haven't had any negative comments and I own a 1.8K Rover.
Okay they do have a few issues if not looked after but I love mine.
But isn't that the same for any car?

This year I have loads of mods planned and several parts that I already have to be fitted.

Looking forward to seeing that beauty of a manifold fitted.

I'm ordering a gorgeous lightweight billet flywheel but it's kinda sad to think it'll be completely hidden

Yeah is a shame when nice bits are all hidden away, I suspect most of this manifold you won't see when it's fitted to

You've got me thinking now - my engine bay is going to look pretty much the same when it's all done... that sucks! lol

see how it feels buying a steel billet crank that's even shiny treated from ISF work and then not seeing it.
That one item cost more than the car did.
Do you think I could cut a hole in the block and fit some perspex ? Should hold fine with epoxy resin or superglue shouldn't it

Nah just take plenty of photos of the shiny bits and present then in a folder with the car

That crank is a thing of beauty. Big shame that it'll be hidden away.
