So sad to hear this news this morning - I can think of nothing to say which has not already been said. It is obvious from all the postings on here that Tam was held in the highest regard as a Forum member, guru and above all else, a family man and good friend to many people. Please give my deepest condolences to his loved ones.

Default With Sympathy on the sad news of Tam’s passing.

I am saddened to hear this news.
Of course, I never had the opportunity to meet Tam in person.
But I was always appreciative of his genuine assistance and advice.
How fortunate are those members who shared his camaraderie and friendship, and will cherish the memories of those happier times shared together.

Vale Tam

I never had the pleasure of meeting Tam, but the comments here show just how much he was loved and respected. It is always sad when someone goes, but even more so when it is one of the good guys.
My condolences to all his friends and family.
