Old Greetings Cards
I can mention this in public as I know I'm not the only one. I have a drawer into which I place cards which are special, picturesque, meaningful, funny or clever. Some come from people whom I have special feelings for and I feel loathe to just throw them out. Well, decision made, I've been going through them again, to reduce the pile, so far, half in the recycling and half for a later decision.
The drawer seems to be full still. |

Slowly, (very slowly) painting the flat. Filling in chips, flattening bumps etc. it's slow because I'm finding doors that catch the floor bar, latches that don't latch, handles that squeak, and it's also slow because of the endless cups of coffee. The thing is, I don't want to finish, we don't know how long we have to do these jobs.....could be months!

We've done quite a lot around the house & garden & l've tidied the loft & made it into quite an acceptable little workspace.
I'm just about to send my Symphony to Jules to have the SME bass enhancer fitted. When it returns l may have a go at changing the entire dash for the aubergine one l have to go in along with fitting the new unit, my new replacement CD, the aux socket for my iPod/phone which Trevor very kindly made up for me & the Eeze digital temp gauge which l'll put in the blank cover on the Symphony. I'll have to do it all outside the house though which should be ok, it being internal work.

I seem to have bought my Capri at the right time.
By the time this lock down is over, I will have myself a lovely new Capri to drive around in, I haven't stopped working on it since I bought it. |
