Default A Great Weekend

Thanks for all the hard work you put in to make this weekend truly memorable, Ian & Jan.
Pat and I enjoyed it even more than last year.
And a bit of light rain today didn't put much of a dampener on things either.
It was good to see everyone (and their cars). A pity some faces from last year were missing. We hope to meet all of you again somewhere, even if it turns out there isn't going to be another Weymouth Weekender.
Made it back to Manchester just in time to unload the car before settling down to watch the Moto 2, 3 and GP highlights. Perfect (except Rossi fell off )

Take care one and all

Robert

Hi guys & Girls

Well, I have just been through posts & piccies and it looks that you all had a wonderful time. The cars look a credit to you all as always.

Obviously a big thank you to Redfive for organising such a smashing weekend for South West members.

Unfortunately those of you that know me would know I was missing due to unfortunate circumstances. I would like to say a big hello to all I missed, especially Bill, Bob, Ian & Phil.

Will there be a mini meet in Poole Park this year. Last year was great.

Regards to all

A big thank you to Ian and Jan for an epic weekend.

We started out Friday afternoon from Essex to be greeted by sunny weather in Weymouth at Haven site. Saturday was spent chilling out and swimming before trip round Monkey Sanctuary. From there it's been a blast, meet everyone at Lodmoor for great evening of food fun and laughter while meeting new friends. Sunday morning was i hoping to give car a rinse but weather decided I didn't have too. It may of been damp but didn't dampen our spirits as we made way to the fort. What an amazing place steeped in history and an amazing piece if construction work. Aaron and i had great time walking round looking for the 'mice' for which he now has a certificate stating 40 found.

So again thank you Ian and Jan for organising a great weekend which myself and Aaron turned into a well earned mini holiday.

Also thank you for the fudge a very nice gift.

I for one hope this isn't the last but I will be returning soon one way or another.

Thank you

Tony & Aaron

Here is a selection I took later in the afternoon.... I think a couple of people had already left by then, one being the visitors from Holland....

I do have to say that Ian's, (RED 5) car looks pretty wicked!!!

So you all spent the weekend in an extremely scenic area, and 99% of the photos taken were of your cars --------------------

The few landscapes taken are super.. Thanks Bill..

Default Thankyou.

Nice pictures Bill.

I would like to say a VERY THANK YOU to

Ian and Jan for yet another cracking weekend and meet. Long may they continue with the support that they deserve. The raffle prize will be put to good use for checking the oil on the cars and for those other little emergenices in life. And thanks for the Fudge.

Blue Thunder covered a total of 530 miles over the weekend and all trouble free apart from the 2 visits to the oil refinery to get petrol.

You're welcome James.... I do have more scenery ones but I thought people might get bored with the very grey photos.....

You're welcome 'F-B'....

550 for me Bob, on 13.7 gallons (40 mpg - Woooooooo! Something I thought I'd never see! ).

I think the guy from Holland gets the prize though! (and in a 260 )
