Some good news this end, my nephew is back home and his brain scan was given the all clear and no more seizures.

Tomorrow Kenya has a general election. Today the opposition to the government, has been telling people not to vote tomorrow and has been calling on para military groups for a Coup D’etat. In light of this, we stocked up and got provisions in, in case we have to lock ourselves in for the rest of the week, beefed up our security with more armed guards and dogs. The U.S, EU and UN have pulled out their election monitors. It’s possible that the internet and mobile networks may be down tomorrow, to control and interfere with the movement and comms of the para groups. I am glad I am back here to be with the family during these testing times.
Flipping heck Phil, you must be living on a knife edge all of the time. I really do admire the way you brave these problem's and potentially dangerous situations . Stay safe

George ( FLYER) is a star and this forum is worse off without him. We shouldn't be afraid to mention his name, he hasn't harmed anyone, just upset the odd jobs worth here on the forum... I will not mention any names, we know who they are .

Thank you Steve, Living in Africa has its advantages but it sometimes comes with a price tag. Tomorrow we are meeting up with the neighbours. We will discuss strategies in case any of us gets attacked. We do look out for each other. I have been through this before and know what to do. Thank you, thank you very much

Big huge set of brass ones Phil, that’s what you’ve got Sir. I think I’d be hiding in the cellar with a large amount of claymore mines set up if I was in Kenya now
