Morning Steve - I'm sat here typing this - grandson is using his X Box on the television., and granddaughter is watching TV on her tablet.
Conversation is a thing of the past.

LOL I'm losing it! I'm just making a cuppa & breakfast, I was spooning some baked beans into a cup to heat in the microwave & spooned them into my cup of tea.

Bearing in mind that I poured my orange juice over my breakfast cereal the other morning - could we get a discount if we applied for TWO places in the funny farm ?

It ain't half windy out there - totally ruined my hairstyle - but unseasonably warm

Down in Windermere a while ago, in a cafe. There were four Japanese tourists sitting at a table, all staring at their phones, not a word spoken between them.

Good morning Steve, it's the age we live in with people losing the art of conversation and then getting phobias about going out and meeting people. I belong to a club in Nairobi, where mobile phones are banned. I suppose people have to go outside or turn their phones off.

Television was blamed for the 'Lost Art of Conversation' when I was a kid. More recently, it was claimed that e-books would spell the end of the printed book and Texting will put and end to handwriting. How much of that is true?
