Default same problem but...

I have exactly same issue however an additional issue CD does not keep it memory.

Can anyone post pics to show me what wires are in wrong place.

That's the same issue - the head unit uses the perm live to keep the memory banks running, and to draw all it's power from. The switched live is only used to tell it to turn on, and draw power from the perm live.

If your perm live goes every time you turn off the ignition, it's memory will be wiped. And if you draw too much power from the switched live, you'll get odd things like the brake lights flashing or the wipers doing a wipe when you turn the ignition off.

Some VAG cars have the wiring switched which is why you'll find that they can be reversed.
