I'm not cut our for this mechanic lark lol.
Been trying to remove a bolt now for a good few hours and it will not budge. Its now started to round of the torx grooves so its going to have to go to the garage for them to do. Only problem is I'm not sure that the part I need is even available new and a garage wont fit second hand parts so I'm again stuck!! Anyone with any suggestion greatly appreciated. TIA |

Have to say it's very rare for the seat belt buckle to fail. Is the plastic housing damaged or has dirt entered it (or kids 'posting' into it ) ?.

I've removed a couple and they were VERY tight as the end of the bolt was a bit rusty where it passes through the floor. Leaving myself open to complaints I will say that on refitting I changed from the original idea of the centre inertia belt passing down through the same hole as the two buckles. That way the seat could be removed without removing the seat belt bolt.
